Tasty local French food.  Very casual and friendly service with English understood and welcomed. Reasonably priced food with a fun and casual environment with fast service as well.

Informal and cozy little restaurant specializing in tartines.
It offers both indoor and outdoor seating in a lovely terrace. Service is super warm and friendly. The food was really tasty. A charming little gem.

Must visit this place if you're looking for a low-cost food place to visit in Lyon. Is it definitely a tartine place. They have decent wines and good beer and amazing desserts I tried little else other than a side salad. Got to share a table with other people and struck up a conversation it was all good fun. prompt friendly servers - Seems that most people in Lyon  are friendly

One of my favorite meals in Lyon! Lyon is apparently known for their tartines and this place was perfect. Super quaint (albeit hot in mid-July because no A/C), and delicious. Only one waitress spoke English, and she wasn't serving us - however she did explain about the different specials of the day. Our actual waiter was super nice and patient as we ordered and the food was amazing. We chose one tartine each (party of 3) and cut them into thirds so we could each sample everything.

    - Tomato burrata tartine with balsamic: very fresh, pretty much what you would expect from a tomato/mozz sandwich

    - The special that I ordered was pork with polenta and olives. It was amazing!!!!!

    - Croque Monsieur was also tasty - ham with tomato and cheese.

We shared potatoes gratin and a bottle of wine. Really nice meal in a traditional Lyonnaise cafe. Cobblestone streets and adorable awnings - so picturesque!

Very filling portions of tartine. They have a huge variety of different tartines, I got the special that contained potato, cheese and ham, northern style. Very delicious. They also served burger tartines, croque monsieur, roast beef toppings.
Good price, and great for hangouts. If you're looking for a break from the pricey French restaurants nearby this is it
